Every year children at Highfield and Brookham Schools support a charity. The children are given the opportunity to vote for the charity they want to support and last academic year The King’s Arms Charity, based in Petersfield, was their chosen cause.
Pupils and staff at Lockers Park School swapped their usual uniform attire for their favourite jeans as they joined in a gene-ius nationwide initiative organised by the charity Genetic Disorders UK: Jeans for Genes Day.
Kingswood School has continued to help their community over the last few months through a number of different ways; including their provision of PPE for the NHS, holding fundraising events, and offering support to local organisations.
Students at Millfield in Somerset have raised a total of £10,000 for UK charities including the Somerset NHS Foundation, MIND UK, CALM and St Margaret's Hospice during the COVID-19 pandemic.
